1. Is Origo a fund?
No. Origo is not a fund. We are an investment company investing in and holding equity ownership in a variety of Chinese businesses.

2. What stages of a company do you invest in?
Origo invests in fast growing companies at various stages of development. While we may consider PIPE’s and spin-offs of public companies, Origo mainly invest in private Chinese companies.

3. How much does Origo invest?
Origo’s typical capital commitments range from US$500K up to about US$20 million. In case of higher capital requirements, we may co-invest with other investors from our network of affiliates and partners.

4. What sectors do you invest in?
Origo is primarily focused on Natural Resources and Clean Tech, but considers opportunities across multiple sectors.

5. What are Origo’s investment criteria?
Origo consider investments in companies that showcase a China linkage; sustained historic and future growth prospects; proven management; potential for domestic and/or international scalability; a clear competitive advantage; and clearly identified exit options;

6. How often does the Investment Committee meet?
The Investment Committee meets as frequently as necessary, either in person or by telephone meetings.

7. How can I buy Origo shares? Can I buy shares directly from Origo?
Origo shares can only be bought or sold through a stockbroker, bank or generally through a financial institution that provides brokerage services. One such broker is Liberum Capital: www.liberumcapital.com.
